Health Watch

Ledge Light Health District is the host of a cable television program on Comcast – Groton Cable Channel 2, a service of the Groton Public Library and Information Center. This program focuses on current health issues of concern to the community.

The program is hosted by Carolyn Wilson. Guests are experts in their field, representing a variety of local and state departments and organizations.

Ledge Light Health Watch can be seen on Cable Access Channel 2 or via streaming video through the Groton Municipal Television website! Now you can watch episodes from the comfort of your home or office – at a convenient time for you! Additional copies for loan are available at Ledge Light Health District or the Groton Public Library.

Past topics include Breast Health, Stroke Awareness, Mosquito Control and Tick Borne Disease, The Tools for Schools Program, Communicable Disease, Cardiovascular Disease, and Asthma. We invite your suggestions for future topics that may be of community interest or concern. Contact Carolyn Wilson for more information.
